I started writing when I was still in middle school. I still remember when I decided I was going to write a book. It was after I finished reading Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliet. The ending of the book especially made me feel like I was on the run with the main characters.
Though, that wasn't the only book that played a part in me wanting to write my own story. There was one that showed me the happy endings Savvy by Inrgid Law. It portrayed the idea of hopes, character development, and Happily Ever Afters. The other, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton showed me that not every story had to have a proper fairytale ending for it to stick with you. However, all of these stories showed me that books and stories could pull on your heart like they were individual real people.
Chasing Vermeer was the book that inspired me to write mystery altogether. Mystery became one of my favorite genres and my first "book" was The Mystery of The Thanksgiving Turkey, don't get me wrong. It was absolutely horrid, but I didn't stop after I got negative criticism. I think we all need criticism to realize where we went wrong so that we can develop that weak point and make it a strength.
I quite enjoyed the criticism, because it pushed me to create something I didn't think I was capable of writing. And that's where Spy Teens comes in.
Never did I think I'd be writing a book and creating a world out of it. Its become something entirely different from what it started off as and I couldn't be more proud of it.
I'm sure you'll find it as entertaining reading it as I did writing it.
You can find Spy Teens: The Interns on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Amazon.
